Like many designers, TG  loves typography as it can deliver a personal touch to our works and more often, typography can be a cornerstone of brand design.

Web typography is made possible as designers can make use of jpg and gif to present their desirable  emotions and styles. TG recently found an interesting blog with focus on typography - I love Typography. 

Interesting enough, the blogger has made the following remark:

First, it’s worth noting that Typography is not just about choosing a font, or even distinguishing one typeface from another. In recent experiments, trained Monkeys were able to correctly identify Helvetica 90% of the time.

The post also outlines four essential ingredients in its cook book in web design:

  • Contrast
  • Size
  • Hierarchy
  • Space

Let’s step aside for a while, enjoy typography being used in a poster. It’s more than a castle… look closer
