With Google, Yahoo and Adobe being in partnership, trying to make Flash file searchable, TG would pose a question: who will be the happiest person if it gets pulled off successfully?

TG’s best guess would be ”Interactive and web Designers”. Throughout all these years, TG know plenty of designers who are talent and very eager to test out mixing static content with Flash files. Their efforts seem not as valuable as they think from the site owners’ point of view.  For those Flash-based pages, the traffic is slow and hardly can they get a high ranking in search result. Adobe-Flash-generated content cannot be indexed simply upset many innovative and creative minds.

Indexing SWF file on content pages is not possible now as search spider ignores them. Google and Yahoo promise that the new crawler will be able to follow Flash button’s logic and track down the link behind it. The good news is there won’t be any changes in coding…

The battle to increase the user-friendliness of Flash files should never truly end, there are so many things to do!
